While playing in First person the game barely touch 60Fps, it will go all the way to 22, in third person, it may get 100fps but also drop to 40. Then I decided to lower a bit graphic settings (especially scaling) and unlock fps. Now I'm playing with 144hz and average 100-120 fps and gameplay is very smooth, much better than 60hz and the difference is noticeable.
